I am on the playground of my elementary school and Goldberg tells me that Mr. Briggs is coming out (my favorite elementary school science teacher and the first teacher to become a personal mentor). I am elated when he arrives. We start talking about dinosaurs and the irony that the ornithischians had the “bird hips” while the saurischians became birds.
